Diana G. Hill 64 of Lick Creek went to with the Lord on August 1, 2015.
She was born August 25, 1950 in Madison, WV to the late Raymond and Julia Sutphin. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Madonna Sutphin Thompson and brother, Lowell Sutphin.
She married Douglas A Hill on March 9, 1973 and was a former employee at Westmoreland for years, and is employed at the Ortho Clinic for Dr. Soulsby. She attended Bigson Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; Douglas A. Hill, her son; Seth Douglas Hill, grandchildren; Dyanna Thompson, Miranda Thompson, Raymond Thompson and Landon Seth Hill, brothers; Rodney Sutphin of College Station, Texas, David Sutphin of Norport, AL, Tommy Sutphin, Jerry Sutphin and Russell Sutphin of Van, WV, sisters; Nancy King of Moundville, AL, and Christina Gunnoe of Van, WV.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Rev. Charles Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
