He and Madge Marston Hyers were united in marriage on November 19, 1950 at Billings. After selling their ranch to his nephew, Larry Jens, summers were spent on the ranch and winters in AZ for 17 years. A year ago they moved to Billings, where they have resided since.
Mr Falkenstern served in the State Legislature for six terms. He was a member of the American Legion, the Masonic Lodge and Terry Community Presbyterian Church.
Mr Falkenstern, age 76, died November 7, 1992 at the Deaconess Medical Center emergency room.
Survivors include his wife, a brother, Edwin of Terry; three sister, Adel (Lester) Jens of Terry, Edna (Don) Leach of Sidney and Clara Glantz of Billings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
