Brenda L. Dunn, 47, of Rittman, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 30, 2015 at her residence.
She was born October 17, 1967 in Orrville to Jerry M. Hoke and Nancy (Ady) Buohl and was a life resident of Rittman.
Brenda graduated from Rittman High School in the class of 1987 and married Carl W. Dunn in November of 1995, he survives. She worked as a Nurses Aid at several nursing facilities; including Horn Nursing Home, Altercare and the Apostolic Christian Home.
She attended South Main Street Church of God and was an avid supporter of the P.O.W./M.I.A. efforts.
Brenda will be remembered for her friendly spirit and genuine concern for others. She helped everyone she could and gave of herself unselfishly. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the art of tattooing.
Surviving in addition to her husband are sons; mother; brother; sister; nieces; special friends; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry; brother, Michael Hoke; maternal grandparents, Charles and Margaret Ady; and paternal grandparents, Paul and Nellie Hoke.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Pastor Travis McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at Rittman Cemetery.
