Dr Abel Marsh Allis was the son of Elisha Allis and Anna Marsh, husband of first wife Desire Remember Baker whom he married in 1790. Second wife was Lucretia (Mansfield) Allis (12 Jan 1772 to 10 Feb. 1848) whom he married 10 August 1796.

Children by Desire Remember (Baker) Allis were:
1. Lucy Allis 11 Apr. 1792 to 21 Mar 1876. Lucy married Lumas Tuttle Hoyt, 1784-1877 and both died in Waverly, Morgan County, Illinois.
2. Elizabeth Allis (born 1793) married Mr. Jones
3. Abel Allis

1. Mansfield Allis (1797-1797)
2. Richard Mansfield Allis (1799-1799)
