"He came to Iowa Falls with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Chassell, in 1867, where he attended a rural school and the Iowa Falls high school. He later attended Grinnell college.
"He went to Sundance, Wyo., in 1886, where he made a claim and taught school. Later he moved to Gillette and Sheridan [Wyoming] and entered the sheep business.
". . . They lived in Wyoming unitl 1947 when they moved to Waterloo to make their home with a niece, Mrs. Lou Armstrong. Mrs. Chassell died in 1948.
"He leaves to mourn his two brothers, Harry J. Chassell of Gillette, Wyo., and Dr. J. L. Chassell of South Dakota, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death." [3]
