Glenn N. Chilcote, 63, of Mount Union R.D. died Tuesday, December 23, 1969, at 9:30 a.m. in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted as a patient, following a heart attack, on December 22.


Born at Three Springs on March 8, 1906, he was a son of Frank C. and Annie (Hoffman) Chilcote. He was united in marriage on March 23, 1940, to Verna Hampton of Broad Top.


Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Mary Alice) Wood of Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Leslie Black of Juniata; two brothers, Norman Chilcote and Frnak Chilcote, both of Todd.


The deceased was a member of the mount Union Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.


Chilcote had been employed by the Mount Union School District as a custodian for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he had worked for the General Refractories Manufacturing Company.


Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today from the Clark funeral home, Mount Union. The Rev. Robert Reed officiated. Interment was made in Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg, R.D.
