Mrs. Schmidt was born in Belleville on September 11, 1884, and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ann Wright, nee Salenia. Her father was a native of England; her mother of Switzerland. She married Mr. Schmidt in Belleville on June 20, 1903.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons:
Leroy Schmidt, 408a South Douglas Avenue
Herbert Schmidt, at home
Sylvester Schmidt, 1008 Olive Street
She also leaves four brothers and three sisters:

William Wright, St. Louis, Mo.
Edward Wright, 510 East D Street
Benjamin Wright, 308 North Eight Street
Mrs. Sarah Green, 209 North Second Street
Anna, wife of Henry Wuest, 310 North Eight Street
Mrs. Josephine Mathews, 616 West C Street
