A resident of RR1 Sunbury, he died as the result of a construction accident in Coraopolis.

He was born in Sunbury, a son of R. James and Connie L. (Deitz) Auman of Greenough Street.

Todd was a 1986 graduate of Shikellamy High School and attended the SUN Area Career & Technology Center in New Berlin, where he studied diesel mechanics. He received his degree from Williamsport Area Community College.

He was formerly employed by Eastern Industries, Winfield, and for 13 years worked at Gutelius Excavating Shop in Mifflinburg. At the time of his death, Todd was employed by the Kevin E. Raker Construction Co. of Sunbury.

Mr. Auman was affiliated with Independent Bible Church, Northumberland.

He was a member of the Point Township Sportsman's Club, Shade Mountain Archery Club and the National Rifle Association.

Todd was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and especially enjoyed turkey hunting. He also enjoyed fishing and was a sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his parents, a brother, Tim W. Auman of State College; a special friend, Nancy Hess of New Columbia; and an extended family.
