Deborah G. Ferguson, age 49, of Monmouth, Illinois passed away at OSF St.Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL on July 30, 2015 at 7:50 pm. Deborah was born on June 4, 1966 in Lexington, Kentucky and is the daughter of Raymond and Sue Shrout Ferguson. She was raised and educated in Lexington, Kentucky and it's local schools. Deborah received her General Education Degree in 1993 from Pass Adult Education here in Monmouth, IL. The family came to Monmouth in 1992 and Deborah was first employed as head cook at Pinewood Health Care Center. She later was the Deli manager at the former Econo Foods for many years. She was a very caring person and wanted to give others a better home to grow in than the one she knew before. She is survived by her son Jonathan (Kaylon Myers) Penney, two twin daughters, Hayleigh and Ashleigh Ferguson, four granddaughters and one grandson, all of Monmouth, IL. There are numerous other children surviving. Four sisters survive, Teresa Grigsby of Lexington, KY, Anita "Corky" Beasley of Tyrone, KY, Donna (Bill) Bachman of St. Cloud, Minn, and "T" Bresnahan of Monmouth, Illinois. Services: A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Turnbull Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Her family plans a visitation, receiving their friends from 9;00 to 11:00 am prior to the funeral service.
Cremation will then be accorded. A memorial fund is being established by her family and may be left at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois.
