Services were held Tuesday, August 4, at Good News Bible Church, Cohasset, with Pastor Lance Edminster officiating.

Floyd was born August 3, 1930, in Arlington, IA, to Floyd, Sr. and Georgia (Roquet) Pierce. He graduated from Grand Rapids High School and married Gwenith Schaeffer August 18, 1951, in Cohasset. He worked as a carpenter for many years and retired as a business agent for the Carpenter’s Union Local #1864. He was a member of Good News Bible Church in Cohasset.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwenith in 2012; parents; son, Jeffrey Pierce in 1975; three grandchildren; and brother, John Pierce.
