Lillian Mae Lawson, 100, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Nova Health and Rehab Center in Weber City, VA.

She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and mamaw. Lillian and her husband, Hoyt, who passed away in 2001, were members of the Eastman Camping Club. They made many friends over the years. She was a member of Gravely Baptist Church.

Lillian is preceded in death by one son, Jerry Lawson: one brother and six sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Foster and husband, Parley “Pete”; two grandchildren, Tammy Jayne and Brian Foster; two great-grandchildren, Erika Jayne and Jacob Foster; one great-great-granddaughter Khloee Linkous; sister, Nancy Hughes and husband, Jack; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home with funeral services to follow with Pastor David Salley.

A graveside service will be conducted, Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Brian Foster, Harold Derrick, Jason Hughes, Jimmy Barnett, Glen Head, and Gary Salyer.

The family would like to say a special “thank you” to the staff of Nova Health and Rehab Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund at Gravely Baptist Church, 647 Gravely Rd, Kingsport, TN 37665.
