O H Davis, age 93 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Creekside Assisted Living surrounded by his family. He was born in Walter Hill, the son of the late Orville and Eva Mae Johns Davis. He was also preceded by an infant son, Haywood Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Tootie Davis; three sons, Bennett Davis and wife Sherrie of Lebanon, Carl Davis and wife Gail of Easley, SC, Jim Davis and wife Laurie of Nashville; and a daughter, Carolyn Gleason and husband David of Phoenix, AZ; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Mr. Davis was a member of New Heights Chapel, and a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a retired car salesman who during his career worked for both the Ford and Buick Dealerships.

Visitation will be at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Steve Decker and Bro. Ben Earthman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.
