Judith York Harper, age 76, died July 30, 2015 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born February 7, 1939 in New Madrid County on the farm, the daughter of Alma Schaefer York of Sikeston and the late Warren A. York. She was of the Catholic Faith and attended the First United Methodist Church with her family.

She attended the St. Francis Xavier Grade School, Sikeston High School and attended college at Southeast Missouri University. She was a charter member of PEO Chapter JU, leader for local Girl Scout troop, member of a Bridge group for many years, and well knows for wonderful cooking abilities.

On January 19, 1953, she married John E Harper, Jr, who survives of the home.

In Addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Katherine & Ken Lape, Cheryl Ann Harper Krebs and Julie & Mike Conway all of Sikeston; one brother, Rudy York of California; two sisters, Sandra York and Sherry York Bohr both of Sikeston; and four grandchildren, Allyson Nicole Krebs, Katherine Harper Lape, MacKenzie Elizabeth Conway and Michael John Conway.
She was preceded in death by her father, Warren York and her sister, (Kay) Sarah Katherine Curry.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park in Sikeston, MO.
