OBITUARY: Obituary for Dr. William Stovall Zellars printed in 'NEWSPAPER NOTICES FROM "THE HERALD & ADVERTISER"', Newnan, Coweta County, Georgia on Friday, November 15, 1907:

DR. WILLIAM S. ZELLARS DEAD

Palmetto, GA, Nov 8th - - Dr. William S. Zellars, one of Campbell county's oldest and most prominent citizens died at his residence here last night at 11 o'clock. In his early manhood he was a successful physician but retired from the practice many years ago. He represented Campbell county in the General Assembly twice, once in 1868 and again in 1880. He was a brother of Capt. T.E. of Grantville and Capt. Simeon Zellars of Palmetto. Besides these and other prominent relatives, he leaves one grandson, Willie Cook Zellars of Lone Cane, GA. His only son, Dr. W.A. Zellars, died seventeen years ago and his wife died about two years ago. He was buried here this afternoon with Masonic honors.
