Mrs. Charlotte Pauline Yancey Nichols, of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life Monday morning, July 27, 2015, at her home at the age of 57.
She was born Dec. 26, 1957, at Harrisburg, Arkansas, the daughter of Clarence Yancey and Virginia Banks Yancey.
She was a 1976 graduate of Harrisburg High School and received an associate's degree in computer sciences from East Arkansas Community College. She worked 27 years for Halstead and Meuller in Wynne and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother- and father-in-law, Eugene and Juanita Nichols; the father of her children, Larry Eugene Nichols; a daughter, Rebecca LeAnne Nichols; and two brothers, Anthony Floyd Yancey and Paul David Yancey.
She is survived by a son, Jerrod Nichols of Wynne; four sisters, Shirley Yancey Shannon of Harrisburg, Vickie Yancey Hively (Randy) of Cherry Valley, Linda Yancey Popejoy (Larry) of Trumann and Melissa Yancey Hooper of Bay Village; two brothers, Butch Yancey (Sevella) of Harrisburg and Tommy Yancey (Betty) of Marina, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; and special friends from the HHS class of 1976.
Funeral services were held in Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel.
