Zelotes P. Craft, 79, of 721 N. Fair Oaks ave., died Saturday at a Madison hospital after a long illness. He was born at Edgar, Ill., and had been a Madison resident 24 years. He was a machinist at the Madison-Kipp Corp. for 17 years.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Saye [sic] Ebersol, Greentown, Ind., a step-daughter, Mrs. Lillian Fischer, Carroll, Ind., a son, Floyd, Hammond, Ind., two step-sons, Gilford E. and Walter H. Heath, Madison; 14 grandchildren, and two brothers, Frank, Danville, Ill., and Dan, Cedar Rapids, Ia.
The body was taken to the Schroeder funeral home, and services will be conducted there Monday at 4:15 p.m. with the Rev. John W. Birchall, of East Side Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Blooming Grove cemetery.
