Jean Pasch Sawyer, 66 of Milford, CT., formerly of Winterset, died Saturday, August 24, 1996 in Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT., after a long illness. Funeral services were held Wed., Aug. 28, 1996, with a mass of the Resurrection at St. Agnes Church, Milford, CT. Internment was in Riverside Cemetery in Shelton, CT.

She was born in Derby, CT., on Nov. 4, 1929 to the late John and Julia Susadick Pasch of Mt. Pleasant St., Derby, CT. She married Stephen J. Sawyer in Miami, Fla. She was retired from the West Haven Veteran's Medical Center after a career as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the St. Agnes Church, Milford, CT., and a graduate of St. Raphael's Hospital School of Nursing. She and her family lived in Winterset between 1955 and 1963 before moving to Connecticut.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving relatives include her husband; three sons, Stephen J. Sawyer, Ill., Jeffrey J. Sawyer and Kelly C. Sawyer, all of Milford, CT.; one daughter, Maureen C. Sawyer of Hamden, CT.; and one sister Betty Regan of Shelton, CT.
