Harold “Slim” Parsons, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, in Tolar, Texas. Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas. Graveside service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Post Oak Cemetery, Somervell County. Harold was born on July 16, 1935 to Jim Crow and Mary Taylor. He married Cyntha Harkins on June 8, 1954. They lived in Tolar for 61 years. He enjoyed working and loved to read and bowl. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David, Donald and Joe Crow and his sister, Martha Westerman. Survivors: wife, Cyntha Parsons of Tolar/Hill City; sons, Lonny and Pam Parsons of Glen Rose, Duane and Emma Gail Parsons of Granbury, Alan Parsons of Tolar, L. D. Parsons of San Antonio and daughter, Teresa Coffee of Granbury; seven grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Crow of Arlington; sister, Claris Cox of Burleson; and several nieces and nephews
