William Burl Baker age 88 of Vienna, formerly of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, died October 31 at Marion Veteran's Administration Hospital.
He was born at Bloomfield, IL Jan. 12, 1888, the son of William and Synthra Newton Baker. He was marreid to Gertrude Walker, who died many years ago.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Betty Mitchner of Sioux Falls, S.D., and one sister, Mrs. Mary Wallace of Vienna. He was a retired laborer on the Burlington Railroad and a veteran of World War 1.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 2 at the Mount Olive Whitnel Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Cooper officiating. Burial as in Mt. Olive Cemetery, north of Vienna.
