Obituary
Madlyn L. Dill Simkulet, 78, Baytown, Texas went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2015. She was born in Baytown, Texas Oct. 10, 1936 to Lee Roy and Lucille Foust Dill. Growing up in Highlands, Texas, she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Houston and went on to become a teacher for 35+ years. Later, she received her Masters Degree from Sam Houston State University. After retirement she became very active in Genealogy and was a member of DAR, DRT, and UDC. She also was involved in actively recording Texas Cemeteries.

She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Jane Roberts of Baytown, TX; daughters, Tresa Brewer and Jennifer Lucario, also of Baytown; grandson, Christopher Moore of TN and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project in her name.
