Ray Grant "Peachie" Cox, passed away Thursday morning, July 30, 2015 at the age of 79. Born on February 26, 1936.

Peachie was retired from the accounting department at Baptist Hospital East and was a former greeter at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home on Bardstown Road. She last attended Guardian Angels Catholic Church.

Those preceding her in death were her parents, John and Edna Kuhn Grant, her husband Samuel L. Cox, Jr., longtime companion Jack Zinninger; step-son Bryce Cox and her siblings, Doris Belanger, Rose Ann Kinberger, Delores Curtis, JoAnn Hartz and John R. Grant, Jr.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews and many longtime friends.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday . A service to remember Peachie will be Sunday evening at 6: p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a brief committal service Monday morning at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery.
