Unknown Wilmington, OH newspaper obituary about Feb. 25, 1929. TO BURY MRS. M'LAIN HERE Services will be held at Holladay funeral home Thursday, at 2 P. M. Mrs. Cynthia Taylor McLain died at her home in Columbus Monday, at 3:15 P. M., according to word received by relatives here. She was a daughter of the late Justus and Cynthia Robinson Taylor and was born in Greenfield, May 12, 1845. She is the last surviving member of a family composed of six daughters and three sons. For many years she made her home in Wilmington but upon the death of her husband, 20 years ago, she removed to Columbus, where she has since resided. During her residence here she was a faithful member of the Baptist church and an enthusiastic worker in the Woman's Relief Corps. She is survived by her four children, Warren McLain of Chicago; Mrs. Charles Carlile, of Columbus; Lloyd McLain of Canton and Ann McLain, in the home; three grandchildren, Frederick Carlile, Katherine Carlile and Neil McLain, and three great grandchildren. Mrs. T. M. Burnett is a niece and Herbert D. Wire a nephew. Services will be held at the C. L. Carlile home, in Columbus, on Wednesday evening, at 7:30, and on Thursday, at the C. A. Holladay Funeral Home, at 2 P. M., conducted by Rev. N. E. Bennett who has officiated at the funeral services of 12 members of the Taylor family. Interment will be made in Sugar Grove cemetery.
