Hodge died April 5 at home with her family after a lengthy illness. She had been in Hospice since March 2.
She was born to the late Woodrow and Mary Clark in Slaton. She graduated from Slaton High and married Jerry L. Hodge on April 2, 1963. They were married 52 years.
She had worked as a telephone operator in Lubbock, California, New Mexico, and San Antonio for 24 years before becoming disabled and retiring.
Hodge was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Stabile and Norma Clark.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Hodge of San Antonio; one son, David, and his daughter Alexis; one daughter, Kathryn; and one sister, Elizabeth Joyce Clark of Slaton.
