Ricky Joe Jordan, age 51, of Mayfield passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and attended First Christian Church, both in Mayfield. He was a truck driver for Pilgrim's Pride.
Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife, Cathy Harrell Jordan; two sons, Joseph Lee (Kristian) Jordan of Melber; and Ethan Blake Jordan of Mayfield; two daughters, Hope Elizabeth Jordan of Mayfield and Shelby Somers Adams of Mayfield; two brothers, Larry (Darlus) Jordan of Kevil and Tim (Delores)Jordan of Mayfield; one sister, Oniske Bell of Melber; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Noble Pete and Josephine Sanderson Jordan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield with Dr. Bruce Dobyns officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Vaughn, Mark Vaughn, Roger Wilkerson, Jeff Todd, Norland Blount and Jeff Scarbrough. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Palmer.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the funeral home.
