Mrs. Hopkins was born May 18, 1927, in Camden, Ark. She was a retired clerk with TG&Y Grocery and a member of Wee Wives Club, Jollyette Club and Union Hill Baptist Church and choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wimer Joe Hopkins.
Survivors include one son, Jerard Hopkins of Texarkana; one daughter, Yvonne L. Cramer of Lawndale, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Jerard Hopkins Jr., Roddrick Stuart, Sherrod Davis and Jazze Adams of Texarkana, John Dawson of Dallas, Adam Dawson of Hooks, Texas, and Keleigh Green of Biloxi, Miss.; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be noon Friday at Lyles Funeral Home with the Rev. F.S. Barnes and Roddrick Stuart officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
