On July 2, 1951 he married the love of his life Cecile Plante at St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.
Albert was self-employed as a building contractor for nearly sixty years. He also served as the District 3 (Hills Beach) Fire Chief for 22 years, retiring in 2005.
He had been an usher at St. Andre’s Church and was head collector at the 9:30 mass for many years. He enjoyed going out to his favorite restaurants on Saturdays with his family, an activity which he rarely altered.
Albert was pre-deceased by his wife of 61 years, Cecile Lamb on October 22, 2012. He had been Cecile’s primary caregiver during her final illness. He was also pre-deceased by his daughter Pvt. Carol Lamb, who died October 14, 1978 while serving in the U.S. Army,
a sister Aurora St. Pierre, and a brother, Gerard Lamb.
He is survived by:

Visiting Hours will be 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2013 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
