Lois was born in Rocky Mound, Arkansas on April 5, 1906, to Will and Fanny (Loe) Fore. On April 1, 1928, she married James Holbert Stewart, who died in March of 1984. Lois was also preceded in death by her son, Hollis A. Stewart, in January 1997 and a grandson, James O. Moore, in February 1982.
Survivors include her daughter, Bobbie Moore, and her grandson, David S. Moore, both of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two sisters, Mildred Glass and Willie Spell Cox, and a brother and sister-in- law, William Coy and Mary Fore, all of Prescott, Arkansas.
