Patrick served in the US Air Force; then, returned to the San Fernando Valley to spend many years in the aerospace industry.
He is survived by his three children: Christopher Hicks,
Kathleen Martinez (George) and Craig Hicks (Christie) plus
one granddaughter, Alegria Martinez. He was also
survived by his sister, Carla McGranahan of Mountain View, AR,and his brother, Robert Hicks (Linda) of Glendale, AZ Another sister, Virginia Rykhus, died last year, predeceasing Patrick. Other survivors include his
2 ex-wives, 4 nephews: Michael Rykhus, Robert R Hicks, Ken Hicks and Ron McGranahan, his 3 nieces: Michele Maki, Teresa Hemingway and Deborah Pohli, and their families.
