Mrs. Glenn-Davis was born on Monday, Jan. 29, 1951, to the late Myron N. and Carrie E. Howard in Youngstown.
She graduated from North High School in Youngstown in the class of 1969. Myra lived in Delaware, where she was employed at Alpha Industries. After leaving her job, Myra moved to Mansfield in 1996, to be with her family. She accepted Christ at the Triedstone Baptist Church in Youngstown and was a faithful member of the All Believers In Christ Church. Myra performed numerous volunteer activities in the community and was a regular voting poll worker. Throughout her life, she was always a bright ray of sunshine, who was a friend to everyone and devoted to her family.
Myra is survived by her husband, Kinster Davis of Mansfield; son Jerome (LaSonnia) Howard of Mansfield and his children, Juwan and Brianna; stepson Ben Davis of Phoenix; brother Michael (Taren) Howard of Ontario; sister Judith Cheney of Cleveland; foster brother, Rev. LeRoy Jenkins of Youngstown; aunt Geraldine July of Queens, N.Y.; six nieces and nephews, Terence Calloway, Tyler, Eryn, and Eden Howard, JayCee Howard and Shannelle Bishop; and a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Myra was preceded in death by her foster brother, Marc Young.
Interment will be at Mansfield Memorial Park Cemetery.
