Lewis DeWayne Collins, age 72, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his residence in Aberdeen. He was born May 7, 1943 to Lewis William Collins and Mae Cochran Collins in Hodges, AL. He was a life long resident of Aberdeen where he was a retired truck driver.
Services will be at 11:00 a. m., Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in Ross Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Tipton (Mark) of Hamilton, MS; two sons, DeWayne Michael Collins of Pensacola, FL, Steven Lee Collins of Baldwyn, MS; one sister, Victoria Bailey of Hamilton, MS; five grandchildren, Tiffany Hayes, Mark Tipton, Jr., Stone Tipton, Destin Hayes, Brandon Hayes; two great grandchildren, Savannah Hayes, Kayden Hayes; special friend, Betty Lindsey and sons, Anthony Lindsey, David Lindsey, and Jason Lindsey. Her grandchildren are Amber Lindsey and Kalee Lindsey.
Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Lynn Hayes and sister, Jean LaVaughn Ray.
