Stuart Norman King
St George, UT - Stuart Norman King, my husband and friend passed away at the age of 77 on Tuesday July 7, 2015 from numerous health challenges. Stuart was born July 27, 1937 to Norman and Cecilia King in Charlevoix, MI. later moved to Muskegon MI with his family. Later at the age of 17, Stu joined the Marines from 1955 to 1959. He was a proud Marine.
After retiring from the Marines he married Donna Lou Batten and had four children and later divorced. He later married Janice M. Schollard (Nelson). Stu always kept busy with interests in restoring cars, home restoration, computer, reading and most favorite was watching old war movies, and he had a great memory for old actors.
Stu is survived by his children; Wendell, Norman, Paul and Michelle, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Brothers; Paul (Jessica) and Chuck (barb). Wife: Janice; Three step daughters nine more grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Stuart was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jan King who passed away in March 2015.
Stuart's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will follow in Muskegon MI at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to your local humane society or animal shelte
