Brenda Sue Steele Leonard was born on November 6, 1953 to the late Willie and Laura Steele of Kingsport, Tennessee. She was raised by her sister, the late Marie S. Thompson and Alfred Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Brice.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Bernard Leonard; two daughters, Shaleasa Sims (Colby) and Tosha Brice; one son, Lloyd Brice; two grandsons, Michael Brice and Bernard Brice; four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; four sisters, Barbara McClain of Nash- ville, Tennessee, Mary Felt (Jerry), Donna Loftin (Bobby) of Kingsport, Tennessee and Alfreda Thompson of Los Angeles, California; seven sisters-in-law, five brothers-in- law and a host of other family and friends.
