Mrs. Lucy Florence Durbin Yost Bryan, 68, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday afternoon, Oct. 25, 1948, at her home on Maple avenue, Cameron, W. Va.
A native of Greene County, she was born June 8, 1880, and was a daughter of the late David and Lucy Barnett Durbin. She was twice married. She was married July 4, 1900 to Nelson Yost, who died July 29, 1928 and to this union were born five sons and two daughters: W. L. Yost, of New Kensington; Howard M. Yost, of Long Island, N. Y.; C. E. (Happy) Yost, of Cameron, W. Va.; R. A. Yost, of McMechen, W. Va.; Mrs. Dinsmore Whipkey, of Cameron, W. Va., and Mrs. Everett A. Kitzman, of San Antonio, Texas. She also leaves nine grandchildren and seven step-children. One grandson is deceased. For her second husband she married Alonzo R. Bryan, who also preceded her in death.
