Elizabeth daughter of Dibdall and Elizabeth Cocke Holt first married Samuel Burch of Virginia on May 1, 1764 Granville County North Carolina. After Samuel's death married her first cousin James Truly. Truly, a Revolutionary Soldier, was son of Hector and Sarah Holt Truly. of Amelia County, Virginia. James Truly death between 1792 & 7 May 1793 Natchez District. Sarah Truly was a loyal advocate of the rule of King George III of England "Spanish records in Natchez District; First Families of Mississippi; in Jefferson County"

Elizabeth Holt Burch and James Truly children lived in Uniontown, Jefferson County Mississippi:
1. Elizabeth Truly who married David Darden
2. James Bennett Truly
3. John Holt Truly

In the will of her grandfather, Brazure Cocke dated Sept. 20, 1766, Elizabeth was given a slavegirl, Amy.

Elizabeth died in Uniontown, Miss. and buried in the cemetery at Chamberlain Plantation. Per present occupants (1998) grave markers contained a high level of salt and have been badly eroded by cattle. Many markers have fallen in a stream. No marker for Elizabeth exists today.

"The Answer of Paulina Ferguson to the Bill of Complaint of Washington Burch, Complainant - filed July 25, 1803" States Elizabeth Holt Burch Truly is daughter of Dibdal Holt. History of the Descendants of the Jersey Settlers, Adams Co., MS. pp 470 -- "Elizabeth Holt, widow of Samuel Burch and daughter of Dibdal Holt."

The Holts were a prominent family in Williamsburg, Virginia. Dibdall's sister Jane Holt married a famous Presbyterian minister, Rev. Samuel Davies. Dibdall moved to the Natchez District sometime in the 1770's and settled in an area that later became Jefferson County, Mississippi His sister Sarah Truly owned a few planations in the Natchez
District.
