Kathleen P. Hogan, 72, of Palmer Township, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at her home. Born July 25, 1943 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Veronica McInerney Kempsey. She and her husband, Joseph M. Hogan, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on May 24, 2015.

Kathy last worked for Lafayette College. Prior to that, she was employed by the former William H. Taylor, Sheridan Printing and Mack Printing. She was a 1961 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Kathy enjoyed doing word scrambles, puzzles, swimming and was an excellent cook. Kathy was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband Joe, is a daughter, Kristine A. Friedman and her husband Ronald, of Syosset, NY; four step-children, Kimberly, Joseph, Sara and Michael; two sisters, Maryann Johnson and her husband Barry, and Justine Lovenstein and her husband Lochard, all of Forks Township; four grandchildren, Katrina, Will and Jake Friedman, and Harper Hogan; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Thursday in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Davis and St. Joseph's St., Easton. Call Thursday 9-10am in the church. Burial will be Gethsemane Cemetery. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton, is in charge of arrangements.
