Thomas C. DeLuca, 85 of Scottdale, (Kingview), died Monday morning, July 27, 2015 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg while being comforted by his loving family..
He was born July 16, 1930 in Scottdale, the son of the late Thomas and Concetta Iannone DeLuca.
Tom was a long time member of the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale.
He was a Graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1948. Tom was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Serving in the 62nd Communication Squadron as a Message Center Clerk, attaining the rank of CPL.
Tom was a retired overhead crane operator, for Duraloy Blaw-Knox Corp. with 43.5 years of service.
He was a member of the Firemen’s Club, V.F.W. post and the Sons of Italy club all of Scottdale.
In his spare time, Tom enjoyed leather crafting and participating in numerous craft shows. He also was an avid gardener, which he loved to share his vegetables and produce with others.
Tom is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
His loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Donna Lee Riley DeLuca, whom he married August 7, 1952.
His Loving Children:

Guy DeLuca and wife Debbie (Coughanour) of Scottdale
Christine A. Kuhns and husband Edward of Derry
And Edward J. DeLuca of Bullskin, Twp.
His Eight Grandchildren whom he adored:
Susan Kaduk, Ryan DeLuca, Katie Mikeska, Kristin DeLuca, Bryan Crouse, Jennifer DeLuca, Erin Crouse and Danielle DeLuca.
And his Nine Great Grandchildren
His Sister: Katherine Siesky of Connellsville
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his:

Grandson: Jared S. DeLuca (May 18, 1995)
Tom’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 W. Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Wednesday from 2PM – 8PM.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held Thursday at 10 AM in the Funeral Home with the Rev Andrew M. Kawecki.
Committal Service and Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale.
