Lettice was the wife of William Cornelius and mother of eleven children: Anne, Jesse, Elizabeth, Moses, Aaron, William, Champion, Beverley, Lettice, Tabitha, and Abner.
Her grave is in the center of the small cemetery with her husband. Their graves are outlined by large stones and surrounded by several graves which the stones cannot be read.
(Maiden name? Some think Lettice's maiden name could be Cargill/Cargile, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Finley) Cargill. But there is no documentation for this and Cargill researchers have proven (with documentation) that this is not fact. There was a Lettice Cargill but she did not marry William Cornelius. Until I see proof of Lettice's maiden name I will only use her married name.)
