DAVENPORT -- Karen Irene Pahl, of Davenport, passed away at home, July 9, 2007. Celebration of Life Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007, at the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to West End Alcoholics Anonymous or Marquette Alcoholics Anonymous. Karen was born January 18, 1961, in Davenport, to LeRoy and Frances (Koranda) Pahl. She graduated from West High School in 1979. Karen enjoyed riding her motorcycle, playing cards, and her many friends. She loved her dog, Cody, and her cat, Socks. Karen will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Richard “Dick” Von Horsten, of Davenport; and aunts, two nieces, a nephew, and cousins. Preceding her in death are her parents, brother, Gene Pahl, and a nephew, Dean Pahl.
