Jason Lee Walles
1969 ~ 2015

West Valley City, UT-Jason Lee Walles, 46, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Jordan Valley Hospital, West Valley Campus, West Valley City, Utah. He was born in Provo, Utah on June 5, 1969 to James and Susan Field Walles. He married Jennifer Ann Harris on June 9, 1989 and was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on August 3, 1993.

Jason, in his youth, played Little League baseball, played the piano and trumpet. He participated in football and wrestling at Hillcrest High School where he graduated in 1987. He also graduated that year from LDS Seminary.

He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and served as a cubmaster. Fishing at Current Creek, camping and being in the outdoors were some of his favorite things to do. He loved all kinds of music including classical music (for his mother) and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, especially with his buddy A'den, his grandson.

He had a dry sense of humor, did a great Donald Duck impression and enjoyed trivia. He currently managed a FedEx store which he enjoyed.

Survived by his parents, Jim and Susan Walles, wife, Jennifer, daughters Valerie (James) Holley, Danielle (fiancé Jake Wilson), Samantha (David) Andrews, and Cydney Jo. Also survived by his brothers Kerry (Jill), and Jordan (Amy), sisters Jennie (Loyle) Rassmussen and Melanie (Brett) Matthews, grandsons A'den, Joel and TJ and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hunter 15th Ward Chapel located at 5000 West Pavant Avenue (3735 South), West Valley City, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening at the same location July 28, 2015, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Wednesday, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Interment at Redwood Memorial Park, 6500 Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
