Mr. Haddock was a lifelong resident of Jones County and was a graduate of Jones County High School. He was the son of the late Alonza Lee Haddock and Julia Lane Haddock. He was a retired owner of the ABC Food Store and retired from Hamrick Building Supply in Gray. Mr. Haddock was a member of Haddock United Methodist Church and the Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Pruitt Haddock of Haddock; a sister, Jane Haddock of Haddock; three stepsons, Edward Massengale, Thomas Massengale and Henry Massengale, all of Haddock; a sister-in-law, Betty Sue Haddock of Haddock; six stepgrandchildren; a stepgreat-grandson; and a nephew, Addison Glover of Brooksville, Fla.
