Larry L. Hendricks, 71, of Easton, MO, went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2015.

Larry was born on January 11, 1944 in St. Joseph to Kenneth and Darline (Sweigert) Hendricks.

On June 4, 1965, Larry married Gwendolyn Marschel of St. Joseph and they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Larry served in the Missouri Air National Guard and retired after 20 years of service to his country. He worked for Ameren UE for 25 years before retiring. Larry was also a member of Masonic Lodge #37 and American Legion Post 508.

Larry operated the family farm in Easton, Missouri for almost 50 years. He enjoyed collecting John Deere tractors and putting together John Deere jigsaw puzzles. Larry was an avid fisherman and enjoyed vacationing in Branson, Missouri. He was also a long time member of Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church and he loved his Lord and his church family.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Darla Rowlett and Uncle Harold and Aunt Ruth Brohan.

Larry is survived by his wife, Gwen Hendricks, of the home; daughters, Lori Hendricks and Michelle (Mike) Ritter, both of St. Joseph, sisters, Joella Mehrhof and Joyce Clark, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church.
Interment Blakely Cemetery, Easton, Missouri.
