Her husband died the very day they were due to move to Lismore so she packed up the kids & went anyway. Was Lismore's 1st Matron of the town's 1st hospital & a well known Midwife. Her cottage still stands in Keen St.
John & Catherine also had a son William b: 27 Feb 1868 in Jamberoo but I can't find a death for him ... yet.
