Vincent Thomas Anderson, Sr, 81, joined the love of his life, Anna Jandreau Anderson in heaven July 24, 2015 at Presque Isle surrounded by his family. He was born in Woodland, September 7, 1933 the son of the late Marvin and Dolly Brown Anderson.

Vincent and Anna spent their life on the family farm in Woodland. Farming brought great joy to both of them and they loved growing potatoes, raising many farm animals and growing a very large garden. His love of nature and the land brought him great happiness. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, long country rides and story-telling with his witty sense of humor. His knowledge of nature was shared with many. Being a lifelong resident of Woodland, Vincent was well known in the community and was always willing to lend a hand. He spent many hours sitting on his front porch with his family, tapping his feet to country music. Some of his happiest moments were when children were in the room. He especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Of all of his accomplishments however, he was most proud of his marriage and his family.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Anderson and her husband Jim McManus of Bath, PA, Bonnie Ouellette and husband Donald and Tina Anderson and husband Peter Deveau all of Woodland, Della Anderson of Old Orchard Beach, Vince Anderson and wife Karen of Woodland, and Marcy Anderson of Old Orchard Beach, brothers and sisters, Malachi Anderson and wife Sherill of Woodland, Bessie Vicarillo of NH, Thomas Anderson of Woodland, Leta Pelletier and husband Herman, Lu Gagnon and husband Michael all of Caribou, Bruce Anderson and wife Coleen of Littleton, seven grandchildren, Joey and Anna Ouellette, Ben Barnes, Erica Therrien, Vin and Jake Anderson and Mackenzie Deveau, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Anderson was predeceased by his wife Anna, June 7, 2010, three sisters, Hattie Thorne, Loretta Judkins and Lorraine Rossignol, one brother, Joe Anderson.

Funeral services were held with Rev Ron Rosser officiating. Interment followed at Woodland Cemetery.

Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mr. Anderson may do so through the Aroostook Area Agency on Aging, 1B Edgemont Dr, Presque Isle, ME 04769.
