Age 79, formerly of Millcreek, the son of the late Robert J. Sr. and Virginia Dollison Adler. Mr. Adler was a 1963 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor's Degree, and a 1969 graduate of Gannon University, from where he received a Master's Degree. He was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church and the Penn State Club of Erie County. He taught in the Saegertown Junior-Senior High School from 1963 until 1969, and then for many years was a counselor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and an aunt, Margaret Dollison.
Survivors include two cousins and their families, Mary Jane Semsey and her husband, Bob, of Uniontown and Larry Stange and his wife, Elizabeth, of Illinois.
Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
