65, of Chandler, passed away on July 21, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on February 6, 1950 to the late Benjamin and Utalia (Pacheco) Acuna in Morenci, AZ. Martha worked as a Case Worker in the medical field. On February 8, 1969 she married Pete in Clifton, Arizona. To this union were born 2 children. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chandler. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, ceramics, crafting, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Martha is survived by her loving spouse of 46 years, Pete; two sons, Stephen (Dina) and Joseph; a sister, Carmen (Sam) Martinez; and two brothers, Frank Garcia and Benjamin Acuna, Jr.; four grandchildren, Cian, Nola, Vance, and Nathan. Visitation and reciting of the Rosary will be held Monday, July 27, 2015, from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 E. Knox Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85044 with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 am. Contributions in Martha's honor are suggested to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, P.O. Box 13600, Phoenix, AZ 85002. Arrangements have been entrusted to Best Funeral Services - North Central Chapel.
