Jackie Wayne Davis, 72, of Godley,
Texas, passed away Thursday, July 23,
2015. He was born Sept. 11, 1942, in
O’Donell, Texas, to Carroll Jackson
Davis and Nettie Venona Holmes.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday,
July 28, 2015, in the Mountain Valley
Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson.
Burial follows at Godley Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday at
the funeral home. Jack was an HVAC
technician and served in the National
Guard. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and drinking scotch. He was a lifetime
member of the Bass Club Association. He was a great big brother, the oldest
of four. He was a rock to his widowed mother. He raised 3 sons with his
wife Juanice and was widowed after 48 years of marriage. Jack is survived
by sons, Wayne Davis and wife, Debbi, of Coyote Flats, Chuck Davis and
wife, Sherry, of Fort Worth and Danny Davis and wife, Camelia of
Springtown; grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, Jacki, Nathan, Ryan, Brooklyn,
Tristan, Hali and Cheyann; one great-grandchild, Maddox; brother, Johnnie
Davis; and sister, Mary Ann Davis Bevers. He was preceded in death by his
wife of 48 years, Juanice Kinnard Davis.
