LOS ANGELES - Nicey Burton Whyting of Los Angeles died Thursday, May 20, 2004, in Genesis Eldercare in Annapolis, Md. She was 86.
Mrs. Whyting was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Harbeson, Del., daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Burton.
She is survived by a stepson, James Horvath of Los Angeles; three sisters, Helen Cook and Effie DeShields, both of Annapolis, and Bertha Jones of Norwalk, Conn.; a brother, John R. Burton of Lewes, Del.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Israel United Methodist Church, Plantation Road, Lewes, where friends may call two hours earlier.
