She worked in the Douglas County school system, and the Lawrenceville Youth Systems, before retiring from Inner Harbor in Douglasville, Georgia.
Laura loved hosting dinners for Missionaries to fund their overseas trips, but more than anything, she loved the Lord. She was a member of Lithia Springs Assembly of God, and before that, a member of the Lithia Christian Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Wade and Jim Wade.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, daughters: Debi (Randall) Starbuck, Cindy, Chery (Gary) Thornton, and son, Paul (Renee). Sisters Margaret (Larry) Ducker and Carolyn (John) Munford. Sister-in-law Vicki (Jim) Wade. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at McEachern Cemetery in Powder Springs.
