Charles Thomas (Buddy)McMillan age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his son, U.S. Air Force Captain Charles Thomas McMillan II, who lost his life serving our country in Iran in 1980; father, Charles (Cot) McMillan; mother and stepfather, Bertha and Fred Anderson. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nora Mae Long McMillan; sister, Peggy Roberts; niece, Penny Clevenger; nephew, Johnny Roberts; special friends, Dennis and Joanna Burkhart. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City. Family and friends will meet 12:45 PM, Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Union Cemetery for a graveside service at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Charles Parker officiating.
