BIRTH: October 9, 1938 to the late Orville and Lena Dighera Dunbar in Denver, Colorado.

PRECEDED IN DEATH by parents and husband of 52 years LTC James Alan Butler (USAF Ret).

AMONG SURVIVORS: Sons Ronald Butler and his wife Lynn, and David Butler and his wife Debbie of Hampton; daughters, Allison Nelson and her husband John of Yorktown, and Karen Butler of Shallotte, NC; and her special canine companion Missy.

GRADUATE: 1956, Central High School, Pueblo, Colorado. Graduate, Old Dominion University, Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Worked for Dr. John L. Tarver.

BASES: Texas, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Kansas and Virginia.

EMPLOYMENT: Opened "Ghent Needlecrafter" where she taught classes and created custom christening gowns and children's clothing. NOTE: Article in "Sew Beautiful" magazine, Summer of 1991. Employed also at Becky's Hallmark.

HOBBIES: Family. Needlework. Gardener. Monthly bridge club and lunches with the ladies.
